Practice standards are the minimum practice requirements or expectations we feel are necessary to protect Albertans.

• They are mandatory.
• Apply to all Alberta physiotherapists at all times.
• Outline how physiotherapy services are to be delivered or performed.
• Help patients, the public, employers, and others understand the standards expected of Alberta physiotherapists.
