Physiotherapy Alberta supports the use of outcome measures in clinical practice. The websites listed below provide online databases of outcome measures. Please check each website for specific usage permissions.

Centre for Evidence Based Physiotherapy
A searchable database that provides access to a wide variety of clinical outcome measures relevant to physiotherapy.

StrokeEngine-Assess
A searchable database that includes variety of measurements used in stroke or neurological rehabilitation.

The Patient Reported Quality of Life Instrument (ProQolid)
A comprehensive database of over 711 questionnaires. The site contains both free and subscription services.

Non-disease specific tools to use in clinical practice
The patient-specific functional scale (PSFS), visual analogue scale (VAS) and numeric pain rating scale (NPRS) are simple measures that can be used across a wide variety of conditions.
