Financial Assistance

Physiotherapy Alberta provides financial assistance to members and students exemplifying knowledge translation and lifelong learning.

• Presentation Fund - $500 each to three physiotherapists who presented their research, work or paper at a provincial or national forum in the previous 12-months.  Members on the general register are eligible to apply for financial assistance. Appplications for 2012 now closed.
• Professional Development Fund - $500 to a physiotherapist who has completed post graduate education and demonstrated knowledge integration in their role and/or broader community. Members on the general register are eligible to apply for financial assistance. Applications for 2012 now closed.
• Student Presentation Fund - total of $1,500 financial assistance annually to University of Alberta students who present their research, work or paper at a provincial or national forum.
